The welcoming area has to be just that. Make sure you get the property presentation just right. Ideally it should be as light and airy as possible.

Tempting as it is, don't leave items such as shoes, umbrellas, golf clubs, bags and excess coats. Not only does it look untidy, it looks like there�s a lack of storage. Make sure any coats on show are kept to a minimum with shoes and other items out of sight.
